Upper Hunter MP, Michael Johnsen is in hot water over a controversial Black Lives Matter post on social media.
Posts appeared on Tuesday on the Facebook and Twitter accounts of the Nationals MP which said "I wonder... how many NSW BLM protesters also protested in favour of full term abortion? The irony".
The post has generated more than 330 comments, with people expressing their shock and outrage at the MP.
Maitland MP, Jenny Aitchison says the comment is disgraceful and is calling for Michael Johnsen to be sacked.
The MP is yet to respond to media requests to clarify the post.
