Buses are still replacing trains between Maitland and Hamilton after a freight train broke down this morning.
The freight train experienced a mechanical fault before 10am causing it to break down near High Street.
A crane is currently on site to lift one of the wagons up off the track so repair work can be done to get the line moving again.
The repair job is expected to be completed early this afternoon.
