A bushwalker missing since Saturday in the Wollemi National Park south of Putty has been found safe and well this morning.
62-year-old Gary Bucholtz was with three others when he left them to go and get water, but became separated from the group - they also became lost trying to find him.
The Hunter's Westpac Rescue Helicopter honed-in of a rescue beacon this morning and a paramedic was winched down to the trio.
Mr Bucholtz was found at the bottom of a canyon a short time later and was winched to safety.
Apart from being hungry and cold, he'd not sustained any injuries.
