49-year-old Robert Manning has been located and is safe.
Following extensive inquiries, he was located in Crows Nest about 6:50am yesterday
EARLIER:
Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Newcastle.
49-year-old Robert Manning, was last seen at a care centre on Broadmeadow Road at about 6:00pm on Saturday.
Family and police hold serious concerns for his welfare.
Robert is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 170cm tall, of medium build, with brown eyes and buzz cut hair.
He is believed to be in the Jesmond or Hamilton areas.
Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to contact Crime Stoppers.
