Four teenagers have been arrested on the Mid North Coast after a pursuit in a car allegedly stolen from Wallsend.
Police say the Audi A1 Hatchback was taken during a break and enter at about 3.00am on Thursday.
Around 9am, officers from the Manning Great Lakes Police District began pursuing the car on the Pacific Highway near Taree when the driver fail to stop, but the chase was called off for safety reasons.
Then around 10.45am, the car was involved in a crash with a Ford Trend and an unmarked police car on the highway at South Kempsey.
No-one was injured and 4 teens were arrested at the scene.
The driver, a 16-year-old boy and two others aged 15 have been charged - they're due to face the Children's Court today (Friday 31 March, 2023).
A 16-year-old girl will be dealt with under the Young Offenders Act.
