A teenager has died in a single-vehicle crash at Mount View Road in the Hunter Valley, yesterday.
About 8pm on Wednesday, emergency services were called to
Mount View Road, Mount View, following reports a Ford Falcon had left the
roadway and crashed into a tree.
The male driver – and sole occupant of the vehicle – suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.
He is yet to be formally identified, however is believed to be an 18-year-old.
Police have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the
crash.
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
