Lake Macquarie Police are reminding beachgoers to take care with their personal affects when visiting local beaches this Summer.
Between 1pm and 2pm on Thursday afternoon, a gold colored Honda CRV (rego CR09EH) was stolen from Redhead while the owners visited the beach.
Anyone who sees the vehicle is urged to contact Police or Crime Stoppers.
"With warmer weather approaching more people are likely to visit the beach, as do criminals who target items left unattended while people swim and walk," said Lake Macquarie Police.
