A man is due to face Raymond Terrace Local Court today (Tuesday 21 July 2020) accused of sexually touching a child in Port Stephens last month.
Detectives from the Child Abuse and Sex Crimes Squad launched an investigation following allegations a 44-year-old man sexually abused a 5-year-old girl while staying with her family in April this year.
The man was arrested at a Narara home on Sunday and charged with two counts of intentionally sexually touch a child under 10 years.
He was granted strict conditional bail ahead of today's court appearance.
