A young girl missing from Newcastle has been located safe and well.
11-year-old Carly Gibson failed to return home on Saturday night, and police were concerned for her safety.
NSW Police sought public assistance via social media yesterday afternoon and Carly was located in Edgeworth around 8:30pm last night.
Police thank the public for their assistance.
