A man's been bashed while walking home from a Raymond Terrace hotel.
The 28-year-old was found bleeding from the back of his head in Mount Hall Road at about 6.30 last night, and is now recovering in the John Hunter Hospital in a stable condition.
The man has told Police he was struck in the head by a stranger who then ran off.
No one else was injured and investigations into the incident are continuing.
