Man charged after allegedly exposing himself to woman at Singleton Heights

A man has been charged after allegedly exposing himself to a woman in Singleton Heights last month.

About 7pm on Monday 4 April, a 54-year-old woman was inside a home on Wilcox Avenue, when she saw a man standing at a rear door allegedly committing a sexual act. 

The woman slammed the door closed and contacted police, though the man fled the scene on foot prior to the arrival of police. 

Officers with the Hunter Valley Police District attended the scene and commenced inquiries into the incident. 

Following investigations, detectives attended a workplace in Singleton where they arrested a 21-year-old man about 1.30pm on Thursday afternoon.

He was taken to Singleton Police Station and faces a pair of charges.

He was refused bail to appear at Singleton Local Court on Friday.
