An armed man who allegedly ran amok at a Muswellbrook unit block overnight is due to face court today (Monday 5 July, 2021).
Police were called to the Mitchell Street apartments just before 10.00pm on Sunday where they allegedly found the intoxicated man armed with a knife.
Police say the 50-year-old damaged two vehicles at the apartments during a drunken rampage and had to be subdued with Tazer.
He's been charged with malicious damage, breaching a personal violence order and being armed with intent to commit an indictable offence and has been refused bail to face Muswellbrook Court.
