A man is due to front court today (Monday 10 May 2021) accused of supplying a large commercial quantity of drugs following a vehicle stop at Sandgate.
Officers stopped a car on Maitland Road late on Friday afternoon and spoke to the 58-year-old driver before searching his vehicle.
It's alleged they found almost four kilograms of methlyamphetamine and a "substantial amount" of cocaine.
A subsequent search of the man's Fullerton Cove home allegedly uncovered more drugs along with a large amount of cash, silver and gold bars and silver bullion.
He's been refused bail to face Raymond Terrace Court today.
