Police are appealing for information after a COVID-19 testing clinic employee was spat at at a testing clinic in Maitland.
About 3pm on Saturday, an unknown man was waiting for a test at the drive-through clinic on Blomfield Street and became abusive after being told the clinic was closing.
Its alleged the man then spat at the employee before fleeing in a white coloured vehicle towards Wallace Street.
Police believe a man described as being of Caucasian appearance and without his two front teeth may be of assistance to them.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or may have dashcam footage is being urged to contact Maitland Police Station on 4934 0200.
