Latest Figures Show Hunter House Prices Continue to Rise Despite COVID Uncertainty

House prices in the Hunter Region are continuing to rise, according to the latest Domain House Price Report for the December quarter.

The median price of a house in Newcastle has leapt to $671,500, an 11.9 percent increase on the same period last year.

House costs in Lake Macquarie have reached $645,000, while Port Stephens has hit a slightly lower $635,000.

Cessnock prices have risen to $422,500, with Singleton costs hitting at $442,500.

Muswellbrook and the Upper Hunter remain the cheapest in the region, at $320,000 and $362,500, respectively.
