Police say it appears a faulty electrical appliance may be to blame for a fire which destroyed a shed at Cessnock on Tuesday night.
Fire crews from Cessnock and Bellbird were called to a home on Yilgarn Avenue at about 6.45pm to find a fibro and iron shed at the rear of the property well alight.
It's taken about 20 minutes to extinguish the blaze.
Crews remained on scene until 8 o'clock, extinguishing hot spots.
No-one was injured in the fire.
