Police Appeal to Public for Help Finding Wallsend Robber

Police have released CCTV footage in relation to an armed robbery at Wallsend last week.

Just after 11o'clock on the night of Tuesday, July 3rd, a man armed with a knife entered the BP service station on the corner of Newcastle Road and Douglas Street.

He threatened a male employee before fleeing on foot with cash and cigarettes.

No one was injured during the incident.

The robber is described as being Caucasian, aged between 25 to 35 with facial hair - anyone with information should contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
