BREAKING! Two Men In Hospital After Early Morning Crash At Raymond Terrace

A 26-year-old man is in an induced coma in the John Hunter Hospital after a horror crash at Raymond Terrace this morning.

Police say the man and his 25-year-old male passenger were travelling along Beaton Avenue at about 2.15am  when his car lost control and crashed heavily into a parked car before overturning.

The driver was trapped by confinement, however the passenger managed to free himself from the wreck.

The driver was freed by the Port Stephens SES and was taken to hospital with a severe leg injury.

His passenger was also taken to the John Hunter with minor injuries.

Man Cut Free From Car After Crash At Heatherbrae

A man in his 20's is in a serious but stable condition in hospital after a heavy impact crash at Heatherbrae.

Police, Fire, Ambulance and SES crews were called to Camfield Drive just before 8.00pm on Wednesday to find the man's car had slammed into a parked low-loader truck.

The man was trapped for about 45 minutes while rescue crews worked to cut him free, with paramedics monitoring his condition - he was also inturbated at the scene prior to being freed from the wreckage.

He was taken to the John Hunter Hospital with serious head injuries.

Three Teens Injured In Bad Crash At Medowie

Three teenagers have been taken to hospital after a bad crash at Medowie overnight.

They were travelling in an SUV which crashed and rolled into trees on Ringwood Road late on Wednesday afternoon.

A 17-year-old boy, who was a passenger in the car, had to be freed from the wreckage.

He's been taken by Ambulance to the John Hunter Hospital with a severe leg fracture.

A 17-year-old girl and a 15-year-old boy were treated at the scene before they were also taken to the John Hunter.
