Serious Crash At Argenton

Emergency services have been called to a serious crash at Argenton.

NSW Ambulance says a 29-year-old man has been hit by a car on Lake Road near Margaret Street, suffering serious multiple injuries.

Paramedics have stabilised his condition and have transported hi. to the John Hunter Hospital.

Traffic on Lake Road is affected in both directions and is down to one lane past the crash scene

 

Pedestrian Hit By Motorcycle In Muswellbrook

Two people are recovering in hospital after a motorcycle struck a pedestrian in Muswellbrook. 

Emergency Services were called to Maitland Street at about 4:45pm yesterday (Monday the 23rd of October, 2023), following reports of a motorcycle incident. 

The 50-year-old female pedestrian was treated at the scene by NSW ambulance paramedics for head, abdomen, and hip injuries, before being airlifted to the John Hunter Hospital in a stable condition. 

The motorcycle rider was also treated at the scene, before being taken to the John Hunter via ambulance.

 

BREAKING! Pedestrian Hit by a Car in Maryland

NSW Ambulance paramedics are responding to reports a man has allegedly been hit by a car in Maryland. 

It's reported the incident took place at about 11:45am this morning on Minmi Road near Warkworth Street. 

The man struck is said to be in his 50s, and has sustained a serious head injury, becoming unconscious after he was hit. 

It's reported his colleagues provided first aid before ambulance crews arrived. 

He's been taken to John Hunter Hospital in a serious condition. 

BREAKING! Pedestrian Hit By Semi-Trailer At Heatherbrae

A man is nursing suspected fractures to his shoulder, ribs and pelvis after being hit by a truck at Heatherbrae.

Police say it appears the man in his 40's stepped out into the path of a semi-trailer on the Pacific Highway around midnight.

He was taken to the John Hunter Hospital in a serious but stable condition.

Police are yet to speak to the man but it's suspected he may have been intoxicated when the incident took place.

Police say it could've been a lot worse if the truck driver had not been paying attention or had been travelling at the full speed limit.

Pedestrian Struck by Car at Kurri Kurri

The Hunter's Westpac Rescue Helicopter has been sent to the scene of a car and pedestrian collision at Kurri Kurri.

A 35-year-old man was hit by a 4WD at the intersection of Northcote and Wermol Streets around 1pm.

NSW Ambulance said the man has been treated at the scene for hip and chest pain.

He's is now being airlifted to the John Hunter Hospital with chest injuries and is in a stable condition.

Traffic is being affected in both directions.

Pedestrian struck at Hamilton South

A 19-year-old man has been hit by a car at Hamilton South this morning.

Around 5:15 am, a car struck the young man on Gordon Avenue at Stewart Avenue, leaving him with injuries to his shoulder and knee.

Paramedics attended the scene to find the man breathing and alert, and he was taken via ambulance to the John Hunter Hospital.


It is understood the driver was left unharmed, while the accident caused the closure of one northbound lane.
