Police are investigating a suspicious fire at the sporting complex inn Cameron Park.
Newcastle Fire Command says they received numerous triple-zero calls to the Pasterfield Sports Complex just before 9.00pm on Sunday to find 4 areas of grass and bush alight.
Crews from Holmesville, Teralba and the Lake Macquarie RFS quickly extinguished the fires before they could spread.
Police are urging anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
