Teens missing from Raymond Terrace

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate two young teenagers, Chloe Smith and Ellie Phelan, who went missing in Raymond Terrace overnight.

The 14-year-old girls were last seen at their home address at about 6:30pm and haven't been seen since.

Police and family hold concerns particularly for Chloe who has a medical condition which requires daily medication which she doesn't have with her.

Chloe is described as having an olive complexion, about 150cm tall with long brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing high-waisted black shorts with a grey singlet and pink thongs.

Ellie Phelan is also described as having an olive complexion, about 175cm with long brown hair, a nose and tongue piercing. She was last seen wearing ripped light coloured denim jeans with a black shirt, black joggers and a grey bag.

Tragic End For Missing Hunter Man

Police believe they've found the remains of a Hunter man who went missing more than two years ago.

43-year-old Danny See disappeared without a trace after last making contact with his family in January 2015.

Since then, neither his bank accounts or mobile phone have been used.

Police found bones and other identifying objects scattered in bushland at Black Hill near Maitland on Saturday.

Mr See's family have been notified of the discovery.


It's still not clear whether he met with foul play with a forensic analysis of the remains yet to be completed.

Missing Woman Believed to be Heading to Maitland

Police are appealing for information regarding a heavily pregnant, missing woman believed to be headed to the Maitland area.

34 year old Raquel Akers was a patient of  Randwick's Royal Women's Hospital anti-natal ward but left around 3pm Monday the 2nd of January.

There are grave concerns for the welfare of Ms Akers and her unborn child.

Ms Akers could also be possibly heading interstate.

She is described as being of Caucasian appearance, around 160 centimetres tall, of slim build, with blond hair and a number of missing teeth.

Police are urging anyone who sees her, to call 000; anyone with information as to her whereabouts is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

Search continues for missing Muswellbrook woman

Searches resume today for a woman after she was last seen swimming in MUSWELLBROOK yesterday.

A 51 year old man swimming with 38 year old Corrina Lee Dever contacted emergency services after he left momentarily and was unable to locate her upon his return.

The State Emergency Service and the Hunter Valley Local Area Command were also unable to find her in yesterday's search.

Today, Police Rescue, Police Divers and Local Police have resumed the search for the missing woman.

Thornton Man Still Missing

Police, relatives and friends are appealing for information about the disappearance of 18-year-old Thornton man, Zac Barnes.

Zac was last seen on the corner of Tripp Close and Haussman Drive in Thornton on Sunday the 13th of November.

Police were told he failed to return home from work.

Zac was reported missing to Central Hunter Local Area Command last Monday, with Police since beginning investigations.

He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, of thin build, between 180 and 185 centimetres tall with brown hair and brown eyes.

Zac was last seen wearing a faded blue singlet, dark blue board shorts and work boots.

Fears Held For Missing Newcastle Woman

 Police are trying to find a Newcastle woman who's been missing for nearly a month.

Stacey Williams was last seen leaving an art gallery at Mayfield at about 2pm on Friday August 26.

Police hold concerns for the 33-year-old as she suffers from a medical condition.

Police Issue Appeal For Missing Belmont Man

 Police are appealing for help to find a missing Belmont man.

35-year-old Carl DeJager was last seen leaving his home on Rodrose Avenue at about 10am on Tuesday.

At the time he was driving a silver 2004 Ford Territory station wagon.

Concerns are held for Mr DeJager's welfare as his disappearance is out of character.

He's described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Island appearance, about 175cm tall, with a slim build, brown eyes and brown short hair.

He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, black tracksuit pants with a rhino motif and red and white writing on the right leg, and a pair of black and white skate shoes.

BREAKING! Missing Autistic Man Found Safe And Well

An autistic man who wandered off from his Kotara home last night has been found safe and well this morning.

20-year-old Matthew Kiely disappeared from his home in Rodway Parade at about 9.30 last night.

Police were alerted when he couldn't be located.

Officers searching for Matthew located him on the grounds of Lakeside School at Gateshead just after 7.30am.

He's now with a carer and is being reunited with his family

Remains Of Missing Belmont Mother Found

 Police have confirmed the remains of missing Belmont mother, Carly McBride have been found.

The discovery was made on Sunday near Scone.

The 31-year-old was last seen on Calgaroo Avenue at Muswellbrook in September 2014.

Her social media account was mysteriously deleted shortly after she went missing.

Police are treating her disappearance and death as suspicious and will address the media this afternoon.

Police Seek Help To Find Missing Man

 Police are appealing for help from the public as they search for a missing Cessnock man.

19-year-old Dylan Dickie was last seen on Thursday June 23 after leaving his family home on Guest Street, travelling on a Yamaha 250 trail bike with the NSW registration number MNG39.

Police have been searching for him in bushland at Corrabare near Wollombi, where they believe he'd been riding.
