A young motorcyclist is due to front Newcastle Local Court after police allegedly caught him speeding at Muswellbrook overnight.
Highway Patrol officers were in Bridge Street at about 1.00am on Saturday when they noticed a motorcycle allegedly being ridden in a dangerous manner.
It's alleged the motorbike was travelling in excess of 45km/hr above the 60km/hr zone.
The rider, an 18-year-old man from Muswellbrook was arrested.
He's been refused bail charged with reckless driving ahead of his court appearance on Saturday morning.
