A young man from Clarence Town in the Hunter Valley was in for the shock of his life when he discovered he had won first prize in the latest Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw.
On Friday afternoon, the man who wishes to remain anonymous was left speechless after winning the $100,000 prize.
The ticket was purchased at the Clarence Town IGA, where the staff were joyous with the news.
"It's very exciting", said staff member Bernadette Gehrig. "I think this might be our first Lucky Lotteries first prize but hopefully some more to come for our customers".
The lucky winner celebrated the win with his family over the weekend and already has some ideas about what to do with the money.
"I'd like to buy a new car first", he exclaimed.
