Last night the University of
Newcastle released more than 8000 Main Round offers to prospective
undergraduate students, who will commence studies next month.
The median ATAR for these
offers was standing at around 83.
It is understood there were
more than 19,200 applications from students across Australia to the University.
79% of the final offers were made
to students from the Hunter, Central Coast and Mid North Coast regions.
Deputy Vice-Chancellor,
Professor Andrew Parfitt says this indicates a high level of interest in the University’s
programs.
