Greens praise Royal Commission

The NSW Greens have praised the Royal Commissions Terms of Reference into child sexual abuse, following complaints about clergy in the Hunter.

The Commission has adopted almost all of the Green's recommendations

The six commissioners, led by judge Peter McClellan, have held their first meeting in Sydney and have recognised the need to consider just and fair compensation for past and future victims of abuse.
Greens MP David Shoebridge says it is now time for all states and territories to work with the Federal Government to ensure every power is given to the commission.
