21-Year-Old Woman Missing From Dora Creek

Lake Macquarie Police are asking locals to be on the lookout for 21-year-old Courtney Ravesi. 

Courtney was last seen on Sunday the 24th of September, 2023 at Dora Creek. 
 
She is described as Caucasian in appearance, 145cm tall, of a medium build, with dark hair, and blue eyes.

Police say it's likely she's with her vehicle, a black Ford Falcon with registration AR8-0DZ. 
 
Anyone who sees Courtney or her vehicle is urged to contact police.

Two Critical After Crash At Dora Creek

An elderly man and a teenage girl remain in a critical condition after a bad crash at Dora Creek.

A Hyndai hatchback towing a box trailer pulled over on Wangi Road at about 1.40pm on Sunday.

Police say the occupants, an 84-year-old man, a 57-year-old woman and a 17-year-old girl were out of the car when they were struck by a Holden Kruse.

The man suffered suspected leg fractures, the girl head injuries and the woman sustained abrasions - all three were taken to the John Hunter Hospital.

An 87-year-old woman driving the Holden Kruse was not injured and was taken to hospital for mandatory testing.

Police are appealing for witnesses, or anyone with dashcam footage to contact Crime Stoppers.

Neighbours Hear Gunshots At Dora Creek

A man has been charged with several gun-related offences following an incident at Dora Creek last night.

Around 6:45pm, officers were called out to a home in Dora Street after receiving neighbours' reports of possible shots fired.

Police searched the home, where they located a .22 calibre bolt-action firearm and ammunition.

The man was arrested and taken to Toronto Police Station - he's been refused bail on several charges including possession of an unregistered firearm and a quantity of drugs.
