Police have confirmed a woman has been killed in a serious crash in the Upper Hunter.
A car and truck collided at the intersection of the New England Highway and Glennies Creek Road at Camberwell, north of Singleton about 10:40am.
The driver of the car died at the scene.
The male truck driver has been taken to Singleton Hospital for mandatory testing.
The New England Highway is expected to be closed for several hours as police conduct investigations.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
