Police Searching For Man In Relation To Cardiff Car Thefts

Lake Macquarie Police are asking for assistance in locating a man they believe to be involved in recent car yard thefts.

The man depicted in the image below is wanted for questioning following the thefts from a Cardiff car yard in October 2018.

He is described as being Caucasian, short brown hair and last seen wearing fluoro high visibility clothing.

Anyone with information that may help identify the man is asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

Police on the Hunt for Trio Wanted on Outstanding Warrants

Police are on the hunt for three people who are on the run wanted on outstanding warrants.

The first is Tiana Hewitson who is wanted in relation to an outstanding arrest warrant relating to deception offenses.

It's the second time police have appealed for public assistance to find the 22-year-old.

She's described as being of Caucasian appearance, 150-155cm tall, with a fair complexion, dyed hair and a thin build. She's known to frequent Newcastle areas including Hamilton, Hamilton South, The Hill, Broadmeadow and Gateshead.

The other pair are two men - 34-year-old Jacob Toleafoa who is wanted in relation to two outstanding arrest warrants relating to deception, drug and malicious damage charges. The other man, 39-year-old Solomon Siulai is wanted for an outstanding arrest warrant relating to aggravated break and enter and steal from dwelling charges.

Both men are described as being Pacific Islander/Maori in appearance. The 34-year-old is
170cm-175cm tall, with an olive complexion, black hair and a large build. He is known to frequent the Newcastle area, including Hamilton and Hamilton South.

The 39-year-old is 185cm-190cm tall, with dark/greying hair and a medium build. He is known to frequent the Newcastle area, including Waratah, Mayfield, Hamilton South and Lake Macquarie area.

Police on the Hunt for Wanted Woman in Newcastle

Police are on the hunt for a woman wanted on an arrest warrant in the Newcastle area.

They're appealing for help from the public to find 22-year-old Tiana Hewitson who is wanted on an outstanding warrant allegedly related to fraud offences.

The woman frequents the Newcastle and Maitland areas.

She is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 170cm to 175cm tall, with brown hair
and a thin build.

Police say if you see Tiana Hewitson don't approach her, instead contact Newcastle Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

Newcastle police seek man on warrant

Detectives from Newcastle Local Area Command are appealing for information into the whereabouts of a man wanted on an outstanding warrant.

Alan Deighton also known as 'Cooper', 44, is wanted by virtue of an outstanding arrest warrant relating to assault and detain for advantage.


He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, approximately 172cm tall, of medium build, with red/blond hair.

He is known to frequent the Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and Sydney areas.

Anyone who sees Mr Deighton or knows his whereabouts, should not approach him, but contact police via Triple Zero.

Child approached in Muswellbrook

Police are appealing for assistance after a 7-year-old girl was approached by a man on Tuesday at around 3:45pm.

The girl was walking home from school on Scott Street when a man in a red hatchback pulled up alongside her trying to entice the girl into his vehicle before the girl refused and ran home to report it to the police.

Police have described the man as being of Caucasian appearance, approximately 20 to 30 years old, with light-blue eyes and brown hair and was wearing a red striped shirt at the time.

The car is only described as a small red-coloured hatchback with scratches on the rear driver’s side panel and mirror.

Anyone with information about the incident is urged to come forward and contact Muswellbrook Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
