A Hunter high school student will face trial over allegations he raped a 17-year-old classmate after buying her alcohol.
The 18-year-old, who can't be named, appeared in Newcastle Local Court on Wednesday where he pleaded not guilty to sexual intercourse without consent and supplying liquor to a minor.
The case has been adjourned until November so he can sit his HSC exams.
