Passengers are also advised to continue to allow some extra time as services return to the timetable.

Wide Load Blocks Northbound Exit Of M1 At Cameron Park

BY IAN CROUCH

Access to the Newcastle Link Road from the northbound exit of the M1 is blocked this morning due to truck  mishap.

The Transport Management Centre says a truck with a wide load became stuck at the bottom right hand bend which connects onto the Link Road at Cameron Park just before 4.30 this morning and is likely to remain there for most of the morning peak.

Motorists wanting to head north up the Hunter Expressway towards Buchannan can still use the left turn offramp.

Northbound motorists wanting to travel to Newcastle should use the George Booth Drive exit.
