Four vehicles were involved in a crash on a busy Wallsend road on Saturday morning.
Just after 9am, the vehicles, heading westbound, collided on Newcastle Road at Douglas Street.
Emergency services were called to the scene and remained at the site of the crash as at 10am.
A spokesperson for NSW Ambulance said paramedics were treating three patients on scene - a woman and a man, both in their 40s, and an infant. The spokesperson said there were no current reports of serious injuries.
