The NSW Government and Strike Force Police have announced a $750,000 reward as investigators try to solve the brutal murder of Newcastle woman Roslyn Reay 18 years ago.
The body of the 52-year-old was found in the bedroom of her Laman Street home on April 3, 2005.
She'd been strangled and suffered more than 30 stab wounds.
Despite an intensive review of the case in 2021, no-one has been charged over the death.
Homicide Squad Commander, Detective Inspector Danny Doherty will be joined by Roslyn's daughter Mandii to formally announce the reward on Monday afternoon at Newcastle Police Station.
