As the hot weather intensifies over the new year holiday period, Hunter
residents are being reminded to stay safe when in, on or around the
water.
Beach-goers are reminded to stay between the flags, and to check for submerged objects and water depth before diving in.
With extra boats expected on the harbour and along the coast in the
coming days, skippers are also being reminded of their responsibilities.
