Fire has caused major damage to a unit at Singleton overnight.
Firefighters from Singleton and Branxton were called to Lachlan Avenue just before 10.00pm to find a ground floor villa well alight.
No-one was home at the time.
It's taken about 2 hours to extinguish and mop up the fire, which caused major damage to the main bedroom.
Police will return to the unit this morning to determine how the fire started.
