The charred remains of a body have been discovered in a burnt-out vehicle at Wakefield.
The ford utility was discovered just off Archery Road near the M1 Motorway by two men searching the area for scrap metal.
The identity of the body and the circumstances surrounding the incident are currently unknown.
Police are investigating the incident.
