Singleton family plead to bring mother-of-three Kylie Enwright home after horrific fall in Thailand

BY JACQUELYN RICHARDS

A couple's luxury holiday in Thailand quickly turned into a nightmare when 42-year-old Kylee Enwright took a horrific fall.

Singleton couple and small business owners Kylee and Paul Enwright were holidaying after a busy Summer period and rough few years battling the COVID-19 pandemic and weather conditions.

Little did they know the holiday would change their lives.

Kylee mistakenly stepped off a 50cm-high timber walkway, hitting her head forcefully onto the pavement and falling instantly unconscious.

The mother-of-three is in a critical condition and has not regained consciousness for 11 days.

She is now in a medically-induced coma, has her head shaved and is unable to communicate.

Her devastated husband is pleading for help to have his wife medically evacuated and brought back to Australia, after their insurer Cover-More, refused to cover expenses including the $200,000 Medivac flight.

It's been reported the family's hospital bills have already reached over $50,000, and they're expected to climb $5,000 every day Kylee remains in care.

Although no blood tests were taken, the insurer used bar tabs and CCTV to determine her intoxication level, which they used to reject her claim.

Husband Paul said he was unaware of the alcohol clause in their travel insurance.

Cover-More has said although they cannot assist financially they're offering all the non-financial assistance they can.

Paul is begging the Australian community for help.

A GoFundMe page has been set up for Kylee which has already received 868 donations and raised $92,500.

The 31-year-old was found dead at about midday on Monday.
