Call for Help to Find Items Stolen from Men's Shed

BY MADELAINE MCNEILL

Elermore Vale Men's Shed is calling for the community's help to recover a number of items stolen during a break and enter.

Thieves broke in on Tuesday night and stole a number of items from the shed, including a yellow and black Ryobi lawnmower, a yellow and black Ryobi whipper snipper, a red Honda whipper snipper and a yellow and black Ryobi leaf blower.

A roll of whipper snipper cord and two red fuel cans were also taken.

The organisation says the items should be easily identifiable, with each one bearing the letters EVMS and a date.

The theft is a setback for the Men's Shed, which purchased the items last year thanks to the support of a Good2Give grant.

Tuesday night's incident also followed an attempted break-in last month.

Police are continuing investigations.

Anyone who may have seen the items or believes they have relevant information is being urged to contact police.
