Police say a Mayfield man admitted to a local repairer his computer contained child pornography.
It's alleged the 58-year-old made the admission when he dropped his computer off for repairs.
The repairer alerted police when it's alleged significant child abuse material was found on the hard drive.
Detectives executed a search warrant on a home in May Street yesterday (Wednesday 23 October, 2025) and allegedly found more than a thousand images and videos on devices in the home.
The 58-year-old man is facing court today charged with six offences.
Police expect to lay more charges.
