Novocastrians living in the Newcastle Supercar precinct will be eligible for free tickets for the three-day race weekend coming this November.
Some residents have been left confused about exactly how many free tickets they will receive.
Residents living in the precinct have already been bombarded with requests by friends to stay in their homes for the event.
Supercars has confirmed yesterday each house will receive two free tickets plus two more tickets per bedroom.
Business owners in the precinct will also be eligible for free tickets.
The Supercar website states residents and businesses in the precinct will be contacted by direct mail with additional information on the application process for tickets, accreditation and parking passes.
Those eligible will need to apply online for tickets.
