Port Stephens Police have launched an investigation after a laser pointer was allegedly directed at a plan coming into Williamtown airport on Sunday.
At about 6:20pm, the Jetstar flight was approaching Williamtown from the Gold Coast when it was hit with the pointer.
The flight wasn't affected.
Police are calling on anyone with any information to come forward.
